The sporty public cycle tour from Weinfelden to Appenzellerland, culminating at Schwägalp at 1,350 m above sea level, leads through a magnificent landscape.
This is what bikes were made for: this weather, these roads and these landscapes”. In other words, the bikes were made for the Säntis Classic. Here, cyclists enjoy the friendship, the adventure and feel alive. This cycling event is a first challenge in the young season, both in terms of profile and length. But it is a challenge without a competition. What characterizes the Säntis Classic throughout is a relaxed, not dogged, but friendly tone. The Säntis Classic is professional, socially committed and open to ALL.
Distance 130 km with 1,800 meters of elevation gain on quiet, safe roads.
Attractive cycle tour for amateur athletes, sports enthusiasts and clubs. Participants start the professionally signposted circular route in the appropriate starting block according to their personal ability. Experience cycling like on the Tour de Suisse with well-known cycling celebrities, support vehicle, motorcycle marshals, technical service, plenty of refreshments and a well-stocked and valuable starter pack with over 30 great gifts.
The Classic Tour is also attractive for less well-trained athletes thanks to the selection of strength groups: each participant chooses the level of sporting exertion that he or she feels comfortable with. Taking part is everything!

Participant limit
In order to maintain the safety and quality of the entire event and not to overburden the safety personnel, the number of participants in all starting blocks is limited. The starting blocks will be closed when the maximum number of participants has been reached. It is worth registering early!
Classic Tour refreshment stations
Information about the refreshment stops on the 130 km route:
- Krummenau after approx. 50 km, closes at 14:00
- Schwägalp after 65 km, closes at 15:00
- Ghögg after 112 km, closes at 4:30 p.m.
Colors of the start numbers
For the Classic Tour and the Radathlon, the respective start numbers are marked with a color depending on the blocks or performance groups.
Registration fee
The registration fee is CHF 80.00 without jersey and CHF 110.00 with official Classic jersey
Registration deadline is May 10, 2025
Later registration is possible with a late registration fee of CHF 20.00. The number of participants is limited.
