CYCLING: Danilith Nokere Koerse Juniors

On Saturday 11th of March 2023, Danilith Nokere Koerse for Men Juniors will take place (UCI 1.1). The riders will ride the same course as the women elite: 129.1 kilometres of which 15 km are cobbled. With an international field of participants and always a spectacular race scenario, Danilith Nokere Koerse for Juniors has since become a classic. Here you will discover future top riders!

There are a total of 129.1 race kilometers between the start town of Deinze and the finish town of Nokere. After the start, the riders travel via Petegem aan de Leie to Kruishoutem, Lozer and Ouwegem to complete the Long Branch for the first time. Then we travel via Huise, Lede, Wannegem, Ooike, Oudenaarde, Elsegem and Kerkhove to the cobbles of the Varent and the combination Tiegemberg – Holstraat. Shortly after, we climb the Petegemberg (500m at 7.6%). Via Moregem and Wortegem we go to the first passage in Nokere. We have then covered 72.9 km and the riders have to complete two local laps of 28.1 kilometers.

This local lap is spiced up by the cobblestones of Herlegemstraat. Then we get a longer flat part along Kruishoutem, Lozer, Ouwegem and Huise. From Huise on, the cobbles follow each other quickly. Lange Aststraat climbs 400 meters at 5.2%, followed shortly by Kloosterstraat, the cobblestones of Lededorp, Huisepontweg, Wannegem-Dorp and Hoevenstraat. At the end of the lap, of course, the Nokereberg awaits.
